Why quantum computing?
A new way to compute — for problems that drown ordinary computers
Some problems — like simulating the molecules in a new medicine — have so many possibilities that no ordinary computer can keep up. A quantum computer works the way nature does: it holds a blend of possibilities and choreographs them like waves, so wrong answers cancel out and right answers add up. It is not faster at everything — it is a different way of thinking, and you can learn it here by watching it happen.
